Would you buy this K20?

I have an 2002 cbr600f4i that I am considering trading for this truck.  I bought the bike for $2600 couple years ago.

Anyways, I knew you guys would know what to look for on this truck.  Supposedly no rust, which would be a big plus.  I am mechanically inclined and know the basics, but was wondering if there was anything specific and what the going price for one these k20's is.  The guy said the hood is primer color, white tail gate, crack in windshield and previous owner had engine work done.

Any and all info is appreciated, I am new to these thirgen trucks...have a 383 thirdgen camaro, but that's a different story.

Go test drive it, get a first hand account of it. Ride the bike over, if it seems legit, I'd do it.

Check all the driveshafts/joints for wear, ask for receipts for the rebuild, if they cant be produced assume it is not, check the rear frame where the shocks mount for cracks or repairs, check behind the steering box for cracks/wear.  Drive it and put in 4x4 (in the dirt ) and use all ranges, make sure it shifts good, lock the hubs, check the oil, check the trans fluid (smell it, if it is burnt smelling or really dirty, keep this in mind)  Check every accessory; do wipers work on all speeds, does the radio work, does the AC work turn it on and see if anything bad happens (shorts, squeals), check the battery box and below for rust, check the area behind the engine (at the cowl) for rust, check the floors for rust.  Roll the windows up and down
Make a list with a check for everything and check it all off, don't try to remember it all.

     x2 on all this.  Remember he needs the bike, you are giving up a gas saver for not a gas saver.  For absolute sure drive it, if it has been taken care of it will drive down the road nice and not all over the road (beware if this is the case).
     In my opinion it has 2 plus's.  1 = it is a short box (but I prefer short box over long box).  2 = it is a 3/4 ton truck.  If you want to use it to tow or actually haul something it is rated for more than a 1/2 ton. 
     In my area $2500.00 is a little low for your bike, but I do not know about your area.  It comes down to what both of you decide and weather it is fair or not. 
     If you are done with your bike and want a change and everything checks out with the truck (no mech. issue's) I say go for it.  The truck itself if it checks out to be ok is actually worth more than $2500.00 in the right market.  He probably really wants a bike for fun and gas savings.  (side note, I traded about a year ago one of my bikes for a truck and still think I got the good deal.)

one thing I see in the pics are weak hood springs....the back of the hood is raised up.  Not necessarily a deal breaker, just an observation

YES ~ as long as you can afford to feed it and the body / drive line check out.  Square body 3/4 tons are rare around here.  98% have been cycled thru and used up by the mud bog crowd.

We looked at one last year (drove 3 hr round trip) 
For $3k It was bad ~ no cab bolts passenger side (rust), front clip did not line up with the rest of the body, front drive shaft worn out at the splines (1.5" slop up and down).  No functional instrumentation, interior was shot and super high miles.

We later found a Very Very Very clean stock 86 3/4 350 4spd 4wd  Colorado truck for $2k.
