Mark from FLint MI.
« on: June 30, 2012, 11:28:05 am »
Hi Folks, Mark here. Not Native American, just an Indian motorcycle freak. I recently acquired an '81 Dually that I've been wanting for about 22 years. Belonged to my late father-in-law. When he passed in '86 my mother-in-law kept in in the garage in nearly mint condition. She's known I've wanted it since the day I first saw it in '90, shortly after I met my wife. Anyway, Ma gave it to me for my 47th birthday. Yup, true story. So, there are a few things that I need. Headliner, upholstery, couple do-dads here and there. I'll do them as time and money permits. Already talked to Chris about some of it.

I appreciate all the info that's here. Thanks for that.

I'm particularly interested in the pillar pod discussion. I owned an injection mold building shop for 16 years. (had to get a real job in 2009. Uncle Sam didn't bail me out.)

Mark, that is one GOOOOOD looking truck.  Welcome from NW Indiana.  I bought my extended cab from a gentlemen just outside of Flint.

Thanks!

I recently tracked my first car (Chevy Nova) down to a gentleman in NW Indiana.  (Would love to get it back.)
