Adding 22" Wheels
« on: July 06, 2012, 11:42:37 am »
Has one tried putting 22" wheels on the Chevy? I really want to add 22x9.5 up front and 22x11 in the back. I would like to see pictures.

pretty common now.  The front size is going to mean no inner fenders or you will need custom ones with that amount of drop.

Sadly not mine, but this thing is dropped on 22's, he's using trailer fenders up front.

I'm pretty sure it's a 5/7, I'd have to go find it again to make sure.

I love the stance of that truck. You wouldnt happen to have any pictures of the engine bay looking at those trailer fenders?

Not everyone is into the lowered on large rolling stock look. Everyone has their own tastes when it comes to trucks.

No offense, just don't like it at all.  I have never been a fan of the oversized wheels, looks like a hot wheels kids car. The lowering is fine to a point.

I'm just old school I guess.

Maybe just old..............   ;)  I never saw the attraction to huge rims and tiny rubber either.  But then again I don't watch music videos.

Whatever floats the owner's boat is fine with me.  If we all drove around with skinny stock steelies it would get pretty boring.

I'm still floating on 15's  More rat than rod.

Well the reasoning for the big wheels with tiny rubber is I'm rebuilding the truck to be a super muscle truck. I want it to scream muscle car. But most likely I'm going to do 20's. Like or dislike to each his own.
