the piggy lives on

well its been three weeks since we dropped the dually off at a salvage yard and i found out that the day after i dropped him off he was crushed. this made me feel so bad when i learned this cause i had called them to see if i could just get the emblems off of him but since metal changes they didnt wait for people to come get parts off him i believe they pulled his motor and trans and then sent the rolling chassis to the crusher. But after a few days looking i got me a new vehicle but it still isnt like my dually and in no way the same character. we got a 1999 chevy c1500 suburban with a vortec 350. its still a ok vehicle but it will never replace my dually i lost. the bad thing is my mom wanted the suburban cause it was newer and should have gotten alot better fuel milage but turns out it only gets about 5 mpg's more than my dually did and has no real power at all. it wont even spin 1 tire in gravel cause the transmission doesnt work well even though it has been rebuilt. here are some pictures of the suburban i got its got the lt package. Plus thanks to my friends my suburban has its name already as the piglet

thats still a nice lookin burban.  It's funny you mention gas milage.  My 85 gets about 15 mpg and my 06 dodge gets about 13 mpg.  Just becouse its a newer full size don't mean its better.

Almost doesn't sound like it was worth getting rid of the other one just to buy this one.
