84 GMC Shortwide

Had to sell my 82 chevy swb I was working on awhile back. But Im back with this little peach, an 84 GMC swb. Just picked it up today, older 400 sbc 350 trans with working AC. Needs paint and some new shoes but it runs ok. Drove it back today 75 miles at 70 mph with cool ac blowin the whole way home!!!  8)

sb 400 out of a 70's... something? Runs decent uses and leaks oil, but hey what do you want for 2k?

Thanks! I'm ready to get it painted, I think I will try to keep it either dark blue or silver(maybe both). I like the way it looks now if the paint was better. May pick up some rallys or different wheels later. Working on the a/c ducts and front brakes now. Just glad to have another older truck again.

Got the fluids changed & her all tuned up, a new cd player and 6x9's installed and the a/c charged up. She is blowing nice and cold in the 111 degree OK heat. It's the truck I always wanted when I was 18 Lol...
