does anyone have any tricks to taking out the side windows?

Iv been trying to get the windows out and i cant figure how to get them out. Is there a secret i dont know about. I did see the little slots in the rail but i cant seem to get it to them. I need help.. 



this is a 74 chevy k10 but the door came off of a 79 and are power

I haven't done it in a while this is what I remember. Use some tape and tape the window in the up position. Un bolt the regulator. Slide it out of the lower window channel. Remove window.

Remove the regulator, unbolt the bottom of the rear window chanel, let the glass down into the door, turn it 90 degrees and slid it up out of the door.

Just did this. In addition to blazin I will say. Remove the outer window seal that runs along the bottom off the window and pull the glass to the outside of the door not inside.good luck

Good to know; I thought the vent windows had to be removed.

thanks for all the replies i ended up taking the vent window out and the seals and rolled the window all the way up and sliding it to the side. Im replacing all the seals so it wasnt that big of a deal. thanks again
