One Piece Windows for a '87
« on: July 31, 2012, 01:08:07 pm »
I bought the one piece window kit for my 87 short step.   And the only question that comes to mind  is " do I really have to grind the door hinge nuts flush?"    The instructions say that it "sometimes" necessary.   Has anyone with an 87 done this either way?

Thanks
Zeke

Put them in there and test them out.  If have put them in a couple and the only trucks I had to grind were aftermarket.  Of course a couple were aftermarket and I didn't have to do anything with them..
I always gut the door and drill the holes and mock them up without anything and verify they roll up/down.  The are in my 89 Blazer project and will end up in my 87 also.
