Best Seat Cover?
« on: August 06, 2012, 01:31:16 pm »
I've had one of those saddle blanket seat covers for a little over a year now, and the sun has made it disintegrate into tiny fibers. It has unraveled and has several big holes.

I need a new one for under $75. Something that will tie down or fit snug and stay in place well. Something that won't come apart in the sun. Preferably something that breathes well, not vinyl.

Anyone have any suggestions based on experience?

In my experience, Pretty much any of the ones at the local stores that aren't totally bottom of the line will do nicely.  i usually spent $50-$60 and they lasted for a few years.

Main thing I found about seat covers is if you want one of those furry covers, don't get a cheap one, get an expensive one or you and everything else will be covered in hairs when you ride.
