My son bought his first truck a couple of weeks ago. It is a 84 C10 shortbed. He is loving it!! Been fixing the little issues you would expect from a 28 year old truck. I spent a few days reading up on here about some of the issues we had to fix and found great info. I have 71 Big block Monte as well. Will post some pictures soon. I work on semis for a living so these old trucks are fun to work on. I had a 79 K10 stepside many years ago and it was a great truck (wish I never got rid of it

I agree on Father Son projects. Have some great memories of working on our '84 SWB. Also on regrets from selling a vehicle you wish you would have kept.
