« on: August 28, 2012, 02:10:08 am »

Thinkin about lowering my swb pickup. Wanting to do a 20" in the front and 22" I'm the back. Not sure about tire size or lowering amount. Anyone have any pics? Also size and amount lowered. And also how it was lowered. All pics and info wud be appreciated.

Thanks Robert

How low are you planning on going?  There should be some pics with 20's and 22's here, have you searched?

I've seen 5/7 drops with 22's all the way around. Be prepared to not have inner fenders up front, or add trailer fenders if you're handy with a welder. Depending on drop you prolly won't be able to run a 30 series tire in the rear. Try and keep your 20's proportionate so it still looks good. Or better yet, 22's all the way around.

Go to search and put in 20/22 and open the threads.

I don't think the 20/22 combo looks good on these unless they are slammed.  I would go with one or the other.  The front on this truck before being bagged looks tiny and out of place...

Example found here:

How low is the truck in the first pic? What tires size would u reccomend if I did 22s all the way around. With maybe a 3-5? Or whatever that first pic is

Do a search for 20/22, that truck and all the info was posted with it.
