Skip White distributor

My distributor quit firing so I ordered one of these Skip White distributors the other day. FedEx should deliver it today. I will let y'all know how it works out. I think some guys on here where getting the same ones on eBay with the clear cap. The black cap is $1.00 less than the clear or red cap. I ordered black because mine is a daily driver and not a show queen. They all come with a lifetime warranty.
They were $38.50 on eBay with $10.00 shipping or $49.00 from straight off the Skip White site with free shipping.

Got it in yesterday. Looked good. Dropped it in and set the timing. So far so good.

I've got an Ebay one that looks just the same as that.  runs great but I hate getting the plug wire boots on under that cap

I know the cap you are talking about. Mine did not come with the one pictured. It just had a plain, ordinary cap. That's OK too. Have you had good luck with yours?
