Greetings from Phoenix, AZ
« on: September 11, 2012, 01:40:57 pm »
I recently moved from Sacramento, CA to Phoenix about a year ago.  Had my 1975 Chevy Cheyenne, 3/4 ton, 4X4, 454 shipped out to AZ.  I've had her since 2001 and just couldn't let her go during the move.   Recently ordered the factory service manual so I can replace the gear oil in the 14 bolt rear end and transfer case.  Nobody seems to have the specs locally.  Looking forward to learning about the Chevy community here in Phoenix.

NP205 holds 2.5 quarts
NP203 holds 5 quarts

Thanks for the welcome.  I must be one of the few who doesn't know the weight of the gear oil that I need.  Are they all the same 80/90w hypoid for everything GM?  Or something heavier?
