Yankee in North Carolina

Hey all. I walked away from local racing this year, and decided to do a complete tear down on a truck that I found in a guys front yard. It's a 1980 Silverado C10, and came with a 454 that needs a rebuild, 700r4 transmission, and a 14 bolt 5 lug rear end with 3.73 gears. Pictures show the truck when I brought it home, and where I am with it 2 months later. Lot of usefull info here on this site. Thanks

Howdy from Oklahoma. I (and I'm sure others) would love to see more photos.

Nice, you aren't too far away from me. I'm in Matthews. Welcome, and if you need any help shoot me a PM... I did a frame off restoration on my truck as well.

Thanks everyone. Well racing is still going on down here in NC, and I have been helping a team with set up at the track. So I haven't done much to my project, but plan on getting back on it this week. I will post and pictures in the proper forum soon.
