Cab and Chassis???

I am looking at a 1980 C20 that the vin decodes to a cab and chassis.  It is a 131.5 wheel base SRW as you would expect for a C20.  Can I assume it is a regular frame and sold new without a truck bed on it???

May want to check the frame vin, see if they match. I've never heard of a C20 C&C, But that doesn't mean they don't exist, I'd assume it would be the 164.5 wheelbase, not a 131.5.

I will check it out more closely.  I can't imagine what the difference would be in the frame behind the bed having the standard 14 bolt full floater on SRW being a C20.  Vin # decodes to a cab and chassis
