1981 GMC Street Coupe
« on: October 23, 2012, 01:45:43 pm »
My father purchased this truck new.  It's spent it's whole life in our shop.  Still has the factory interior complete with rare in dash tach from the factory.  Came factory with a 305, 4 speed Muncie and 2.73 gears.  Truck now has a 355SB, 3.73's and still runs the 4 speed.  Factory paint and stripe package, however we're looking at having it repainted stripes and all.  I've actually never seen another SC package with this color combo.

Thanks guys!  I'm out at the place this weekend and snapped a few more pics.

Original wheels, they needed some TLC but they're coming out great

That is a might fine ride.
I don't think I would change anything. Just put it back the way it was.

You're correct they were all two tone, however I've never seen another one with the blue stripe, that was the color combo I was referring to.

Ah, I have seen a handful maybe, they weren't that popular, or people trashed them..  Alex on here has a few, and can probably source the correct stripes for you...

Who's Alex because if I could get a set of stripes that would literally be awesome.
