New Chevy guy from SC/NC
« on: December 13, 2012, 04:14:40 pm »
Hi everybody. Im from Rowland, NC but been back and forth from charlotte and sc for the last 25yrs. Ive own several mustangs in the past..hence Mr. 5spd..love to race. But had 2 back surgeries which stopped me from that scene. I always had a love for chevy shortbed trucks also. My first was an '85 with 305 and 700R4. Sold it and bought an '81 with a sunroof with no motor or trans. Installed 355 and turbo 400 and sold it. Now i just purchase an '87 with crate motor 383 with built 700R4. Hopefully i will keep this one a lot longer. My plans is to customize this one alot more starting with a lowering kit and 22" Raceline wheels. I know a good bit about these trucks but dont know everything so eyes and ears open to learn even more.
dang RIGHT ITS FAST!!!

Welcome from California!

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!
