The official reveal date was yesterday. What does everyone think? I think the larger fender flaring on the Silverado looks best, but I'm liking the GMC grillework better. One thing I'm really happy to see is the lower beltline returning along the length of the truck. The slab-side of the current models' doors just looks too Nissan-Titan-like for my tastes. With the return of the lower beltline body feature, I think the trucks look more finished.
Another feature I like is the addition of the 6'6" bed for the crew cabs. I have a 2007 crew cab with the 5"8" bed, and had the 6'6" bed been available when I bought it, I would have gotten that feature.
As far as the interior goes, my truck is the LTZ model with the Tahoe/Suburban dash, and I think the interior is very nice. The new interior for the 2014 model looks pretty sharp, but maybe somewhat cluttered/busy in appearance?
For fuel economy, I like the idea of the 6-speed transmission and a new 6-cylinder motor, but I wish a manual trans was available for those of us that love to shift.
