1983 Chevy 1 Ton 6 Foot Bed Dually!!!
« on: December 28, 2012, 09:04:16 pm »
Yes guys  this is real and it is cool. Before you comment yes it is a cab and chassis rear end not a dually but when you tell people what you drive you don't say 6 ft cab and chassis you say 6ft bed dually, you get the point. It is a big block 454, 4 wheel drive " actually 6 wheel drive", and I think it has 4,76 gearing but I'm not sure someone told me what it is but I'm too tired to remember. Let me know what you guys think and ask any questions you want. Btw just turned 16 and it is my first truck I'm building so thanks for the support. I'll upload pics tomorrow pc is not working now

The description sounds nice, but what pictures we will be able to see what it looks like.

Cool looking truck. What do the rear wheel wells look like? Are they tubbed?

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!

I have seen trucks like this before.  The outer rear tire hangs outside of the fenders a fair amount doesn't it?!  Cool first truck for a 16 y.o.!  Good to learn the basics on,  if you have a good teacher.  Congrats,  and have fun with it!

I like the looks of the dually without the bulky dually fenders.
