85 C30 454 vacuum lines

Gentlemen and ladies, I have a 1985 C30 454 4 speed being fixed up. I was sick of the old tired q jet, lots of issues. I purchased a reman from national carborators M4MC. "hot air choke" I am wanting to run minimal vac lines due to ease of use as well as lack of original emmisions equipment. I might handle my issues in steps.
First off- where does the hot air choke hook up to a line. Its currently in the breeze. Thanks

I have a 1979 that came factory with hot air choke and I trashed it as soon as I could and changed to electric.  HOT AIR suck... it only ran stock on two factory years..  The hot air connected to a line that ran into the intake manifold and heated the air.  These are very hard to find as they were metal lines that ran out of the manifold to the carb in the front and back.  I searched high and low for those at every junkyard in the OKC metro and could not find them.  Thus I switched out my intake and converted to electric.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have the electric off another q jet so I'll just throw that on. Where did you get your 12v power source for the electric choke?

I wired it into a key on spot in the fuse box...but you can splice into the windshield wipers or anything else that is a key on only wire.
