Another gauge problem

Alright I have an 83 c10 dual tank.. both gauges would peg out past full I changed both sending units out today now the drivers side is at about 3/4 which still seems a little high and the passangers side still pegs out.. the grounds on the sending units are both good great continuity little resistnce to the frame... anyone have any ideas? It has the orgional selector valve and orgional selector switch.. I Havent checked the cluster circuit yet...

it sounds like  your signal wire has a short to ground.

There is diagnotics for these in the Tech section also.
