Thanks. Its my first square body. And I became an instant fan, best truck Ive ever owned.  Needed some work when I got it. But thanks to this forum Ive been able to do it all myself. Next on the list is the cab repair kit from the Captn.

Nice K30, welcome from NW Indiana

Im alittle confused about the k vs the c. I know that usually the K means 4wd and the C means 2wd. but mine was registered as a C-V 30? Whats the V? Or am I Confused

In 1987 they called the C series 2 wd a R and the K series a V for 4wd.  Sorry, I should have said nice V-30.  GM had this change because of the new body style coming in 1988 for the standard cab trucks.  Yours being a cab and chassis kept the 73-87 style body...  Not sure of the C-V designation...

Welcome from Alaska, Flip.  Is that a snow plow mount on the front?

Yup, no plow yet. I have an 02 silverado 1500 plow tuck. Ive gotta put some more time and $ into the dump truck before I take it plowing. But I am looking forward to next season. Im sure itll push some snow.
