New guy from oklahoma with 84 swb ls swapped
« on: January 29, 2013, 09:51:10 pm »
New to the forum from Oklahoma and thought I'd share a picture of my beloved project! Got it lowered about 3/5 with the factory 8" ralleys wrapped with some 295/50/15 hancooks. Been reprinted but with factory paint code. Finally swapped the junkie 350 and 700r and dropped in a 5.3  fuel injected with a built th350. Any more info anyone wants or pics just ask illnhelp the best I can!

Fittment was great! Had to knotch pass. Frame 1/4 inch to clear the exhaust manifold. I ran the th350 trans. The 5.3 is cammed and I'm running a loose 2800 stall and I get 15 to 15.5 on hiway. As far as power it's night and day difference from my mild cammed 350 it had! I used dirty dingo motor mounts and they are adjustable so I didn't have to modify trans crossmember or driveline. Oh an it has 2.72 rearend so that prob helps the fuel milage some

Great looking truck! How about opening the hood and giving a shot or two. Welcome from an Okie in Altus. Were are you located?
