Trying to order some 18x10 5 lugs/question about size/compatibility

If anyone can help me in a quest for an airtight answer, its this place!

Found some decent priced rims in the size i was looking for, basic, not gaudy. A set of AR 18x10 5 lugs which im hoping to upgrade from my current skinny minny 15x8s. The seller hasnt gotten back yet so i figured id get a quicker answer here. year and model are in my username.

Are these gonna be compatible with my baby or am i gon end up with an expensive headache if i buy this set? Ive never tried shipping a set of rims nor do i plan on it!

Went to a local shop today and repeatedly was steered in the 20s and up range. No....no....no. SMH. NO! Tried to go the local route but ehhh....

So if i can definitely zero in that these are a fit without doing anything crazy, just pull my jack and 4 way out and get to work upon arrival, i'll definitely be indebted and will post pictures as soon as they're on there! Thank yall for your time.

Well some specs would help, or at least a tire size, suspension setup, ect.

I have 235 70 15s on it now, apparently either those or 225s are stock size from what ive read googling.  As far as suspension details, cant really tell you too much on that. Before my grandfather passed, he had did that to help him get out of the truck better. Its dropped below stock, not scraping the ground type low though.

I don't think you've provided enough info for these guys to tell you if they will fit or not.  You need to know the lug pattern and offset to get a good answer.  The bolt pattern on a factory 5 lug is 5x5".  Offset range is -25mm to 0.

Factory rims are 15" in diameter and either 8" or 7" wide with 4" of backspacing and a 5 on 5" bolt pattern.    5 bolts, 5" circle.
235/70/15 tires are generally 28" tall and about 9.25" wide (not tread).

The size of the rim diameter is irrelevent as long as it isn't bigger than 28" in this scenario.  What does matter is the back spacing and the width, of which the 18x10" rims are going to be 10" wider.  If it has less than 4" of backspacing, and it is lowered you are going to have issues, more than 5.5" and you will have issues, so there is a limit on the backspacing.  In addition, depending on how low the truck is and how big a tire you plan to run you will probably have rubbing issues on the inner fender.

With all this said, you really need to measure off your current setup and see what backspacing you should go with.  On the height, if you decided to stay with the same current height of 28", you could put a 255/55/18 and the width would be. 75" wider and 1" taller, or you could put 255/50/18 and be. 75" wider and right at 28" tall.
