I've been over at 67-72 and found out about this site. I like that their is a site just for this model. I was heavy into Trans Am's and Camaro's and have always liked these square body trucks so I recently picked up this 82 out of Acworth, GA.
It is a nice truck but it does have issues. I found bublbling in the lower part of the passenger door, the passenger floor has metal screwed in and the battery tray is shot and the front passenger inner fender will need to be replaced. Other than that a pretty good old truck. The 305 is anemic so i'm putting up for a 350 and the 700r4 has been rebuilt but the warranty says non-transferable so I can only wish for the best. I had new hedman elites put on and the quadrajet just would'nt function with the cam that is in the motor so a new edelbrock 1406 went on. The plans I have is a drop, wheel swap, new exhaust, rear sport bumper, 87 grille, bumper guards, and interior. It will all come in time. Right now I'm waiting on the seat cover to come in to redo a bench seat I bought. It now has a nice aftermarket 40/20/40 set up but it is not for me. Here are a few more pictures, enjoy and see you around.

Welcome to the site from California, that is a nice truck you have there and a great place to start. Glad you are here.
