Common sense is no longer common!

I'm plowing a driveway.
(1) The person waits till I'm almost done to move their car!
(2) Then they drive it over to where I just plowed, and proceed to clean it off!
Why do I have to do all the thinkin?

Maybe they think they are just doing their part... Every little bit counts right?

I want to believe it is 30 - 50 years ago when everyone thought about others. The very sad truth is that most of the world only thinks about themselves and never stops to think how their actions will affect another human being. Sad, very sad.

In these cases it really doesn't affect me personally. My point how hard is it to figure out if your clean it off before you move it, even better BEFORE I get there you will be ready to hop right into the car, and move it as soon as I plow behind it, and have made a spot for them to park it.
This dumb move affects me..
The person can't wait for me to clear out behind, or in front of their car. They try to move it, it gets stuck. Then I have to drag it out on a chain!
Or this one..
I tell them where to park when its going to snow. I show up to plow, the car is right in front of the biggest snow bank, where all or most of the snow from the driveway goes! In some cases this goes on for a few seasons until I finally get fed up, and point out how stupid they are, or that they don't listen!
Or the customer comes out, and wanders around in the driveway while I am plowing! Good way to get run over when I am backing up stupid! Or their kids come out to play as soon as I get there!

You can't cure stupid! The only thing I can think of on a positive note is that they need to hire you. Maybe looking at it as job security would help?

Not to cast too many stones, but it seems that the people that push Darwin and the theory of "survival of the fittest" are the most likely to succumb to the trappings of the theory. Most likely these are the same sort of people that paved the way for all the fancy decals on my lawn mower deck warning me "against" placing my hand underneath said deck because of spinning blades!?!?! But not to worry, you'll be perfectly fine as long as you have good insurance...

I get the same thing on jobsites. The kid pulls in the drive first, then I back in. I have the van with the tools and material.
