so i was in a forum called pirate4x4, i am just tell people that you should not be apart of that group. I asked a simple question and some guys where cursing, and talkin about how dumb my post was, completely out of line. if you are this forum is way better, people actually respect each other. i will be figuring out how to delete my profile soon enough.

I have had personal dealings with the early membership of pirate 4x4.
Pirate 4x4 has gotten way too big for them to control. I remember when it was smaller ( 20 years ago ), at that time in my life I was still 4wheeling ( rubicon and hammers stuff ), was building custom rock crawlers and testing them.
My point is, I wheeled with a lot of them and even then they were you know what's. They were that way then, they are that way now, and I don't see them changing in the future.
Again just 1 reason I support this forum and am a paid subscriber, I want this forum to last and be here for everyone in the future.

I'm on there occassionally. You have to have thick skin to be on there and just know that you have to ignore the rantings and bashings. I don't spend much time on there though because of the state of that site.

I hate forums like that. A bunch of guys that probably couldn't look you in the face to face but 10ft tall and bullet proof behind a keyboard. These sites are supposed to be fun and informative. I like the ones that reply with "The search feature is your best friend". While helpful, sometimes you don't know exactly what you are looking for and can better ask the question. Takes as much time to answer than reply with that and if you don't know the answer don't waste the bandwidth and move on.
