Dog Tracking
« on: February 27, 2013, 08:52:05 pm »
so i know my truck is dog tracking, i can actually see the difference between the tires, the passenger side is the side that is pushed back. i hit a curb back in november head on in a parking lot at night because i didnt see it. i was only going about 5mph so i didnt think it would do anything.

its right around the time that i need to re-torque my U-bolt since i put my lift in, is there any way to fix dog tracking? it would be nice to kill two birds with one stone lol

thanks in advance -Nic

but i also think that it could be a little of side to side too because the drivers side tire sticks out more than the passenger side as well.

Have someone help you measure wheel base distance on both sides/ front of rear axle tube to rear of front tube, and let us know what you find

Keep in mind the rear track width is narrower than the front.  Check the wheelbase dimensions as Pholliday stated.

Have someone help you measure wheel base distance on both sides/ front of rear axle tube to rear of front tube, and let us know what you find

Also get fixed points on front and back axles and measure an a "x" fashion, both measurements should be the same if nothing is bent.
This will help you with side to side, and front to back.
