Blew up the 383 replacing with a 427

     How did the motor blow up ?  Going for the big block, is it going to be a built 427 ?

It spun the bearings within an hour. The 427 will run on e 85 and is supposed to make about 700 horse... More than the truck can handle.

Sweet looking truck. Can't beat the sound of a big block chevy motor. I loved the 454 in mine but chose 5.3 turbo power instead.

Sounds like yours is more race/show oriented.
