Title says it all. In the 73-87 trucks how do you replace each gauge in the factory cluster?

Replace them with Orignal replacements? Unbolt the cluster, pull the lens, unbolt the section holding the gauges pull them out, put new ones in. They need to be the correct equivalent replacement though.

Yeah I'm talking about replacing the original gauges with the same type. It looks like they're just stuck into those metal clips that are stuck in through the printed circuit but I didn't want to go pulling on things without checking first. Are they just pressed into those clips or are there nuts holding them in place? If so I didn't notice any

There are small screws holding them in place and they are interference fit in the clips.

I have a 74, and the gauges on mine just pull out. There are Bolt studs that inser into the electronic socets in the cluster. They should pull out pretty easy, mine did.

Great man. That's what I was hoping for. I have a couple that need replacing and really didn't want to try prying them out without asking first. Those clusters aren't just laying around anymore or at least not around here!
