1978 Scottsdale K20 - tire size stock suspension

I have checked every thread in the 'tires/wheels' section and haven't been able to find the answer I was looking for. So here is my question: Will 265/70R17 tires fit?
Information:
Stock suspension (will add a 2" lift next summer)
17x8" 4.5bs rims (8lug)
My main goal right now is to get the truck running and have some decent tires on it. I live in the north so I am wanting to buy some A/Ts; either BF Goodrich or General. (I have good experiences with both companies)
Thanks for your help.

I think I have 265/70R17s on my '77 K20. They fit fine with the stock suspension. I had some rubbing issues on the front tires when backing-up and hard turn, but I went back to Les Schwab and complained that they gave me rims with too much back-spacing and they gave me the next one down and it completely solved the issue. I drive this mildly off-road during hunting season, take it in the snow and haul at full capacity from time to time.
I'll double check when I get home the tire size. I think your tire size should work! Those 265/75R17s are about 1" larger in diameter and only 1/2" larger in radius than what I am running. You might rub a little from time to time before you get the 2" lift in; depending on how you use it.

Thanks, for your reply. It is what I was looking for. I figured a 265/70R17 would fit.
I changed my original post to the correct tire size: 265/70R17. Would you be able to check your backspacing for me? I expect to be doing quite a bit of offroading and hitting some mud roads as well so I wanted to be sure.
Thanks again.

Here is my '77 K20 with stock suspension and 265/70R17 Toyo M/Ts! She's a little dirty right now, but hey...it's a truck!!
The wheels I believe are an older version of the Ultra Wheels 'Crusher'. They are a chromed aluminum.
Also...The backspacing works without the fender extenders. I have some stock wheel-well trim that I want to put back on there and get rid of the fender extensions, but I have a little bit of body work to do before I pull off the extensions. Like I said before...Les Schwab's first try on the wheels had too much backspacing. They rubbed pretty good at full lock, so I took them back and we went with slightly less backspacing and it hasn't been an issue since!
