Frame swap

I have a 1986 1/2 ton frame and i as wondering if i could put a 73' to 80' body on to that frame and if not which bodies will fit the frame?

Yes you can.  You will need to use the body mounts for the year of the frame (81-87).  If you plan to keep the '86 front end, the cab will need modification for it to work.  

You might want to check with the local DMV though since the cab has the VIN on it.
