I need to replace the rubber that sits in the channels above and below the sliding glass in the rear window. Mine is severly dry rotted and beyond help and the window can only be open about two inches. First, where can I find this? Second, how does one go about replacing it with the window still in the truck? I assume I would just slide it in from one end over/under the sliding panels until it reaches the other end, but how would I go about gluing it in with that method?
A side question - would it just be easier/better to replace the entire window? It seems to be in decent shape, but would an aftermarket one look and function better in the long run? How much of a task is this?
I searched the site, but the other posts I've read about this topic didn't quite seem to answer this question.
