Question about 87 Blazer, Please help
« on: August 05, 2013, 09:51:12 PM »
First I would like to make it clear that I am NOT trying to sell my vehicle. It is not for sale, and probably never will be. I want to know about the value of my truck. It is a 1987 Chevy K5 Blazer with the 5.0. It is in near perfect condition with only 106,000 miles on it. It was my grandfathers, and he nearly never used it. Can someone give me an estimate value for the vehicle, thank you.

http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars  is a good place to start.  That is where I go to see if something is worth the asking price.

It's really hard to price something like that.  Is it rust free under the running boards?  Is the interior clean and unworn?  Does it look good and original under the hood?  I wouldn't be surprised to see something like that on craigslist for $4-6k, but that doesn't make that a good estimate.  You appreciate how well it has been taken care of, but it would take the right person to pay top dollar.
