Naming your truck

I have had a lot of classic cars and trucks. Al most all of them got a name or came with a name.
What is the name of your truck ?
My 73 F100 was painted bright eye splitting green and yellow, it got the name John Deere. The name stuck even after I sold it.
My 75 F100 got the name Lita, as in Lita Ford.
My 63 New Yorker cam with the name Grindelia and in the mother of Grendel from Beowulf.
The there was my $400 73 Dart green on green on green aka Ralph.
1979 Cordoba the roach coach, ever need a Florida palmetto bug ?
Best of all there was a friends 78 New Yorker Brougham 19' 6" of rust, aka Rusty Longfellow.
I'd like to hear what your trucks name is.

There has been a thread on hear about this, but my 74 step side 4x4 project is named "shaggy". Mainly for this reason.
I grew up on scooby doo and love the old cartoons. Also my wife likes to call me shaggy when I don't shave for a couple of days, her way of telling me to shave nicely.

Not much imagination here ;
The one ton is " The Ton "
75 4X4 is " The Plow Truck "
84 C20 4X4 is " Mom's Mad " ... Because She was mad that I bought it before discussing the purchase with her

Mine are usually named after a song. My 96 f250 ext cab long bed was flat black and called The Night Train. My current truck is named Roxanne, red LEDs run along the side of the dump bed.

My grandpa was bore-d and raised in Morgan County KY. He was known as Black Sam Salyer [ black hair ] and there was a Red Sam Salyer[ Red hiar] in the next county.
Well old Grandad Black Sam never liked a " Yell-er" car or truck.
So I call my 73 c10 "Yell-er" in honor of him.

My 85 longbed came with the name "Uncle Jessie", I think his kids liked Dukes of Hazzard.
My 86 shortbed came with the name "Snow Ball", so I got a vanity tag "SNWBLL" and continued that one.
My daughters first car was "Cindy" the Civic.
I'll have to search for that other thread, this kinda stuff is fun to read.

My Dad named mine "Arkansas" for two reasons. #1 is because that's where it came from. #2 is because it was a farm truck and he'd always end up with some "Arkansas" on his face and in his hair whenever he was underneath of it

When I got my truck its was named Big Red. I promptly painted it yellow and kept calling it Big Red. Then when I did a total rebuild, painted it yellow again, & being a plow truck put vanity plates on that said YELOSNO, Its name got changed to Yellow Snow. Kinda funny I meet someone new, and a lot of the time they know the trucks name, and or my name, but don't know me!

i never got around to naming my trucks but something always comes to mind about names. i know when im having trouble or talking about "her" i refer to her as baby. idk why but it seams like some others refer to their truck in the same tone as feminine. but then they put the truck "testicles" on their truck with a female name. making her a hermaphrodite
