Swap Related

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a v8 swap. The original engine is a 1980 C10 Scottsdale with a 250 inline 6 and a manual trans., I bought a doner truck (1986 C10) with a 305 V8 and with an automatic trans. I'm almost done but I ran into an issue regarding the fuel pump. The fuel pump on the old 250 inline 6 just has 1 fuel line going to it and the one that came with the doner truck has 2 fuel lines going to it. Now to the question.... Do I have to swap out the fuel lines and sending unit to make it work with my new setup? Or can I use the old fuel pump from the inline 6?
Thanks for the help before hand!

Fuel pumps do not cost all that much.  My advice is to go get a fuel pump with one line.  It could be as easy as asking for one for a 305 in the 1980.  Autozone is pretty good about matching what you need.

Sweet! I think that would be the best course of action, thanks for your input. I will look online now, never even thought of looking for a fuel pump from an 1980 305.
