stereo speaker replacement
« on: September 16, 2013, 10:07:50 am »
Did a search, but didn't find quite what I was looking for.  I need to replace the front stereo speakers and was wondering if anyone had a good source.  I'm not looking for anything special - just something that will sound good and fit in the original slot without additional brackets or wiring.  This is for an '83 Silverado.

Thanks!

Use the "Outfit My Car" feature at Crutchfield to get started.  It will ID the speakers that fit in the factory locations.

i use a dual voice coil 4x10 speaker in the center and then branch out a 3 inch planet audio tweeter off each side of the center speaker in the factory holes on each side of the dash.
