Any seat patch ideas
« on: September 20, 2013, 09:02:54 pm »
Any great ideas for patching a seat???   Just one seam is split, but it's enough to dice your leg in shorts.   The old polyester seat cover has disintegrated from the sun.
Duct tape melts and slides in a hot truck.
Someone must have a great idea!

I love my saddle blanket seat cover (with pockets of course).

Email the site owner Captkaos, he can get you whatever color/fabric type you need.  Recovering them is an easy task and you can do it in a few hours.  I did my first one in about 3 hours and that includes taking the seat out and putting it back

Zieg,
Is it a ready made cover?
I've always has black vinyl...nice and hot in the sun...I've wondered about something cloth.
The horse blanket might be a good option if this gets too pricey!

Fabric or vinyl, ready made.  All you need is a sunny day and 3-4 hours.  Help is nice to get the seat in and out.
