Springs on four corners

Does anyone make a kit that converts a 1977 Heavy Half ton for springs on all for corners? I'm going for a lift and I don't like the look of leafsprings on a lifted truck. Could I just buy a set of shocks/springs and engineer them to fit on the truck? What do you guys think?
