New to forum
« on: October 20, 2013, 01:49:57 pm »
Hi all. I'm new to this forum, although I have looked through it for some time now and enjoy the trucks and ideas. I own a 78 crew cab dually that I purchased in 97 to haul around our kids and camping equipment. It's still a workhorse, hauling buggy on rack on top of truck and pulling travel trailer behind. Love those big blocks. It needs a lot of interior work and paint, but is mechanically all good. Trying to put some time in on her now. I've also begun trying to restore, for the second time, my dad's 73 3/4 ton pickup that he is the original owner of. As many of you probably know, there were a lot of new features available from chevy starting that year, my dad special ordered just about all of them on this truck including of course the 454, the first year it was available. Really love working on it. I remember riding home in it from the dealership when I was 8. It's a family heirloom at this point. Anyway, glad to be part of this. I'm sure you guys will be able to help me out some, and I hope to be able to do the same for you.
Working, & working, & working on 73 w/big block.

Welcome from California, I sure would like to see a pic of your truck with the buggy and trailer hooked up if you have any.

Thanks for the replies guys. bake74, I was only able to find one picture of the rig loaded. It's not complete, but the only one I could find. I'm in So. CA., forgot to include that in first post.
