power window regulator bolt alignment
« on: October 25, 2013, 09:28:09 am »
Im trying to replace the power window regulator on my 84 c10.  After placing the regulator wheels in the proper window sash, I cant seem to get the bolts in the regulator to line up with the bold holes in the door.  The bolts are about an inch down from the holes but I cant raise the regulator motor enough to get the bolts in.  Any suggestions?  Im on my third day working on this and Im as frustrated as can be.  Thanks for any help.  Great site.

Are you putting all the rollers back in the track at the same time.  Door and window?  Get the lower one in, it just flips around and bolt the door up then get the glass in.
