Allison trans. score
« on: October 25, 2013, 11:54:31 am »
Picked up an Allison 4 speed automatic last night. Unbolted it from a small block, it had come out of a 1972 Chevy school buss. Odometer read about 82,000 miles. $75!!
Slowly collecting parts for a killer Blazer!

Not sure which model. I stuck it in the corner of the shop for the time being as I have been pretty busy. I have a Rockwell 2&1/2 ton divorced transfer case that I picked up about 7 years ago. I have a nice low mileage 454 I picked up last year. Now all I need are a couple of Rockwell axles!!
I will and get a pic or two up soon.
