front drop

I'm wanting to drop the front end on my truck. I've already done the 3/4 ton coils to 1/2 ton coils. It dropped it some, but I want it lower. I'm going for the nice rake look. What are some ways of lowering that don't involve drop coils, spindles, a-arms, ect..? Like maybe cutting the springs or using those spring lowering compressors? If I get it low like I want it, will this cause major alignment problems? thanks, MARK

if you don't wanna buy anything, then cutting them is the only way, and i've heard you shouldn't cut more than 1 full coil (2"). the spring compressors are so you can take them out without them jumping out and killin someone. anytime you alter the stock specs, you'll need to have it re-aligned. probably no major problems, but it'll be slightly off

I actually ment those spring lowering things that they have out. two of them connect to each spring and it lowers them. But I'm gonna go with chopping them first.

thanks for the info,
