I ordered new bushings for the cab. They will be here Monday and hopefully I will have time to get them in.

I still need a windshield and need to install my locker before I start driving it.

Had to use breaker bar to break the bolts loose. After that the impact took them the rest of the way out. Did both on each side at a time.

I printed some adapters so I could use 3 3/8 gauges instead of enlarging the hole for 5" gauges.

Real nice truck, hobbz, I just read all of your journey.... I have tons of questions on the wiring... What kit did you get and where? Did you just tear out and start new? Timeline for all? Thanks man and keep it up!

I bought the wire harness from ebay, just search hot rod wiring harness...

Yes, I tore every single factory wire out of the truck and started fresh, including new headlight and parking light sockets.

I have been working on the truck for about a year and a half just as a project. Probably could have been to the point I am now in just a few months if you worked on it every day after work.

What was your timeline from start to finish on the wiring? seems like you did it in about 2 days...any diagrams that helped you? TIA!

I was able to get it wired enough to start in a day or 2. Lights and stuff I just did as I got time later on.

Make sure you have a gm column wiring diagram
