« on: November 28, 2013, 10:00:45 am »
Putting vortecs on the 350 and was wondering if I should use a vortec head gasket set or the old style. Is there even a difference, thanks guys

You will definitely need the Vortec intake gasket.

The head gasket can be what ever you prefer.

Thanks I went out and got the whole top end kit for the vortec. It was a good kit. Any recommendations for headers? I'm looking at staying around 200 and want mid length or full length.

Hooker competition. My favorites for quality/cost.

You can buy better but those are far more expensive.

Have you heard anything about the flowtech afterburners? I seen a few posts on some other sites about them. Mostly 4x4 though. Hookers are nice my buddy has a set on his truck and they've got a nice growl to them
