My $.02 if your buying new ones get 6x9s to mount in the cab corners (I'm assuming that's where your talking at putting these)....will sound better, more options, and probably cheaper because there is more.

Thanks for the link. What do you guys think of the Infinity XRef 30020FX 3.5 for the dash and Pioneer A4103 4x10s for the cab corners? Looking for a sterio as well.

I recommend kicker 6x9 three ways in the cab corners i love mine i also have a cadence wild beast 12in sub with a 800 watt amp pushing my lows with a pioneer cd player sounds great beats real hard and the 6x9s are very clear the highs are perfect you hear me tweeting then beating five blocks down the road

I've got the Infinity XRef 3.5's in my '91 Crew.  They are really nice speakers.  I'm happy with them!

Has anyone installed 6x9's in the cab corner using the factory brackets, grill, etc that houses the 4 x 10s ?

It's difficult to know just how much you don't know until you know it.
In other words... if people learn by making mistakes, by now I should know just about everything!!!

I used the factory brackets with some material cut out.  I mounted a piece of MDF to the front.  It made it easier to mount the speaker and hid the factory bracket a little.  It doesn't look as nice as the metal ones listed above, but is free if you have a couple small scraps of wood.  I don't know if I have any pictures, but I will look.  They are not mounted in my pickup now, so I might be able to get some pics at lunch time.
