gm 12 bolt 4wd 2wd?

Are the 12 bolt housings on a 2wd and 4wd the same? I realize One is a 6 lug and one is a 5 lug but width wise do they match up?

same maybe brakes might be different but that has nothing to do with 4x4 or 4x2

That's what I thought, I found one for $20 so it might be worth getting.

My opinion: $20 isn't a bad price, even if all you can salvage is the yoke, then that would still be worth the money.
