Hi, I'm a forum newbie across the pond in England. I shipped myself an 81 shortbed c10 from Georgia to the UK a couple of months back. Its a work in progress truck and will keep me busy but she has potential! Currently running a 454/TH400 and 12 bolt rear. Motor is pretty stock for the time being, just an edel carb and headers for now.
Looks to be a wealth of info on here
. I sure have a lot of questions!

Thanks for the welcome fellas. Here she is on the day she touched down here in England.
I have since changed the grill and headlight surrounds for 84 items. And put in new headlights and a bed cover. Thats it so far. Everything I need has to come from the US. So its pretty costly by the time I add shipping and import duty. But I have a few boxes with goodies waiting to go on!
I have drop spindles, springs, hangers and flip kit. Belltech front sway bar. Pro Comp shocks. New ball joints etc. It recently had brakes and wheel bearings but I plan to swap in C6 corvette stoppers up front when funds allow. I have new lights all round, new chrome front bumper, window rubbers and seals and loads of other bits and bobs.
After fitting the suspension the next job is wheels/tires. Then paint. That hideous yellow is hurting my eyes! I'm gonna go 2 tone I think. I'd like to get a chrome rear bumper too some day.
Once I'm done with the exterior, I'll do the interior. Its ropey at the moment. Then the motor will get some attention. But thats a little way down the road. I have baby #5 due in 3 months.........

Welcome from Alaska, Adam.
I like the truck but I do like that yellow paint. I think it looks good on the truck.
