EFI fuel switch harness
« on: January 05, 2014, 10:18:29 pm »
Hey guys I/m going to be doing an LS swap (5.3/4L60E with cam upgrade) in my 85 SWB in a few months and getting everything needed before I start. I was going to do the blazer tank swap but I come across 2 good looking fuel tanks for $40 bucks. (I think they are 87s because they have the baffles in them.) so I/m going to use those tanks instead of the blazer tank since It will be an easier setup. Where can I get the EFI switch harness from. I have heard of them being mentioned on this site but have found anything on line.

Do you not have one from the factory for the tanks.  Last one I picked up was from NAPA...

The one the truck has from the factory is still in the truck. I wasnt sure if i needed another type of switch to get both tanks working with the 5.3 swap. Is there anything else i need for it to work?

You shouldn't need anything for the LS, just make sure you are running a new switch valve that can handle the pressure from the LS pump (55-60lbs) the car version had 7lbs, the TBI had 15lbs...
