My new 1980 Cheyenne rat
« on: January 28, 2014, 04:55:20 pm »
Hey all!
I just picked up my c10 today from a friend and am excited to get started with it! It has a built 350 w quadrajet, performer manifold, headers, and duals. The tranny is a 3 sp manual on the floor. It's lowered (don't know how yet til I get under it) and in general needs body and interior work more than anything. What I am best at too! I plan to chop the lower back of the cab out and create a space there for some tools and an infinity basslink powered sub. It already has a highliner headliner that I have upgraded speakers to install in. I want to just get the interior deadened as much as possible and get in nice and comfy w upholstery and carpet. This is my work truck for my furniture business and I plan to drive it every day. I will have a car share membership as a back up for those little short trips I don't want to fire it up! Very excited!! This is my first truck. I have owned a grand national, big body buicks, an integra gsr, and other random cars but this is the first vehicle I am excited about since my GN! Hope you all cheer this project along, it'll help motivate me.

1over1, welcome to the site from California.  Just keep the pics coming.
