Rain under front edge of the hood
« on: February 06, 2014, 12:51:52 am »
Whenever it rains, water runs down my hood and UNDER the front edge. This causes water to pond on the metal apron underneath and it has started to rust. Is this a common problem, or is something not right with my truck? The hood, front, and fenders are all aligned well.

No this is not normal to sit and be able to rust.  The hood and top of the apron (top of radiator support), can get water from rain, especially when running down the road.  The apron is suppose to be able to drain off though, check and see if any holes or valley ways are plugged up and not letting water run.
You can also try with a garden hose while sitting to see where it is puddling up.
